    Eagle's Crag - Located at about a kilometre from the Kurseong’s railway station, Eagle’s Crag is the most popular tourist site in Kurseong. It is at a high point and offers breathtaking view of the valley below. Tourists can also see the free flowing river Teesta from this point. The snow-covered peaks of the Kunchenjunga, Jannu, and Kabru can be seen from here. The surrounding area has quite a few trekking trails which are popular for their natural beauty. At the top of the Eagle’s Crag is a tourist complex with a lovely garden. There is also an observatory called Netaji Kothi which was once the summer home of the famous Bengali freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.

     

    Dow Hill - A popular tourist site in Kurseong, Dow Hill has a lot of attractions to offer. With a beautiful Deer Park, a Forest Museum, a mini amusement park which is a favourite with families and children and a water reservoir, Dow Hill has a range of sites to see and activities to participate. At the top of the hill there is a tourist complex which has been developed for the tourists. The view from the top is enchanting with the backdrop of the snow covered hills and the greenery of the valley below. Tourists can catch a glimpse of many tea estates from Dow Hill.     St. Mary's Hill - The St Mary’s Hill is located around 4 km from the Kurseong Railway Station. It is a scenic natural area covered with lush green forests all around and the way leading to it is equally enthralling. Amidst the greenery is the Eastern Forest Rangers' College (EFRC) which was the erstwhile site of St. Mary's seminary. There is a statue of Jesus and Mary here and tourists come here to view this. St. Mary’s Hill also has a beautiful church of St. John and this has been recently built. The church is appreciated for its architectural beauty as much as it is liked is for its scenic locate.

    Toy Train Station -The Toy Train Station in Kurseong is located in the middle of the town and is a popular site for tourists, since they can board the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, popularly known as ‘Toy Train’ to Darjeeling. The museum is located at Giddhapahar which is about 4 km from the main town of Kurseong. This was earlier the house of Netaji’s older brother, and later came to be converted to a museum. The museum houses many documents, artefacts and articles which are connected to the freedom fighter.
