    Tattapani - Tattapani is a continuously flowing hot water spring, which flows with same force and quantity throughout the year. This hot water is suitable for curing various skin diseases. This spring Tattapani is located in the Surguja. District and is towards the north-east of Ambikapur. This place is it is famous for its hot water springs that can even cook rice bundled in a piece of cloth. Tattapani is situated very close to the Somerset Wildlife Sanctuary and is well-connected by the nearest Raipur Airport and. It is also very close to the Anuppur Junction Railway Station.

     

    Ramgarh and Sita-Bengra - Ramgarh and Sita-Bengra are the sacred spots that are situated in north Surguja District. These spots are believed to be the places where, Sita and Rama spent their period of 14 years in exile. Sita-Bengra is situated towards the north of the city and is considered to be the home of Sita. In front of these caves, there are Rround rock-cut benches that have been arranged in terraces, forming thea shape of a crescent. The Sita-Bengra caves are 14x5x1.8 metre in dimensions.

     

    Mahamaya Temple - Mahamaya Temple was built by the king Ratansen of the Kalachuri Dynasty in 1050 AD. This temple is situated towards the east of Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh. The main deity here in this temple is the Goddess Durga. This temple is well-maintained by a body of organised administrators. Who look after the administration of different religious sites in the town. Sidh Shakti Peeth Shri Mahamaya Devi Mandir Trust is engaged in supervising the financial and managerial activities in the temple. The best time to visit this temple is during Durga Puja and Navratri. when the temple is decorated with lights.     Jogimara Caves - Jogimara Caves are located in the Surguja District in the state of Chhattisgarh. These caves are around 10x6x6 feet in dimensions and age back to 300 BC. There are many paintings of animals, human beings, birds and flowers on these caves. Each painting is painted on the white base plaster with a red outline. There are around 7 different paintings of elephant figures and human fish on the roots of these Jogimara Caves. Tourists can also find certain inscriptions on the walls of these caves, which could be counted as the world's first messages of love. These messages depict the intense love story between Devadutta and Sutnuka.

     

    Thinthini Patthar - Thinthini Patthar is a cylindrical rock, which measuringes around 200 quintals and is located in the Surguja District. When the rock is striked, it gives a metallic echo, which is considered to be divine. by the local inhabitants. For striking this rock, travellers can use a solid material that gives strong metallic sound.  Different types of sounds can be heard by striking different sides of this Thinthini Patthar. The rock is situated near Ramgarh and Sita-Bengra and can be reached by auto rickshaw, taxis or bus from Ambikapur. 

     

    Deepadih - Deepadih is a famous village situated in the Samri Tehsil which was formerly a part of the Chalgali Tappa of the erstwhile Surguja State. This village is connected with the tehsil headquarters by Kutchha roads. There are few ruined temples and tanks located at around a distance of 1.5 km from this village. It is believed that the Deepadih village was ruled by a Dravidian king, named Samni Singh, who was killed in a battle. with Tanginath. There is also a huge stone figure resembling Samni Singh located near the ruined temples. Further, there are few ancient pillars that are inscribed with pictures of Gods and Goddesses.
